Le délégué de la Fédération internationale a procédé à la distinction du champion du monde égyptien Mohamed Hassan Ahmed Abdel Rahim.
L’athlète égyptien s’est imposé en finale du Championnat du monde face à son homologue géorgien, au terme d’un affrontement de haut niveau, remportant la médaille d’or en lutte gréco-romaine – catégorie 67 kg.
La cérémonie protocolaire s’est déroulée en présence de Son Excellence l’Ambassadeur d’Égypte en République de Serbie, ainsi que du chef de la délégation égyptienne, le colonel Mohamed Mahmoud El-Sayed.
Au nom de la Fédération internationale de lutte, M. Fouad Meskout, vice-président de l’instance mondiale et président de la Confédération africaine, a officiellement remis l’insigne doré au champion égyptien, avant l’exécution solennelle de l’hymne national de la République arabe d’Égypte.
The delegate of the International Federation officially recognized the Egyptian world champion Mohamed Hassan Ahmed Abdel Rahim.
The Egyptian athlete claimed victory in the final of the World Championship against his Georgian opponent after a high-level contest, earning the gold medal in the Greco-Roman wrestling – 67 kg category.
The official ceremony was held in the presence of His Excellency the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Serbia, as well as the Head of the Egyptian delegation, Colonel Mohamed Mahmoud El-Sayed.
On behalf of the International Wrestling Federation, Mr. Fouad Meskout, Vice President of the global body and President of the African Confederation, formally presented the gold insignia to the Egyptian champion, prior to the solemn performance of the national anthem of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
